I'm looking to build a high end gaming PC for a medium budget (£500 - £700). The only reason I say high end is due to the fact that I am planning to incorporate the new RX 480s, having two in Crossfire. (if that's even going to be possible, I know that Nvdia pulled a fast one and removed SLI on the 750 ti)
I'm looking for a processor, preferably more than 2 cores, and >= 3.0ghz when overclocked of the Intel variety.
A motherboard, compliant with the processor (duh) With DDR3 RAM compatibility, and 2 or more GDDR5 PCIE slots. Gigabyte if possible, due to the DualBIOS. I like that. I don't mind what size the motherboard is, because I am planing on buying a case to suit it and making it look all snazzy with LEDs and stuff.
As for cooling, I have a Coolermaster cooler laying around that I can use perhaps. If not then it shouldn't really be an issue.
Thanks everyone!

Solution
1. Buying a crossfire setup off cards off the bat is a terrible idea , a single higher tier gpu will always be more beneficial.
2. Building a skylake rig you want a board with ddr4 ram (unless you have ddr3 sticks already that you need to use)

1| Your post is half clear to the entire community, please follow this guide when asking for build upgrade's advice.
2| You may not be able to pull of the crossfire endeavor off the bat but possibly later down the rad after amassing some more funding(once the system is built).
3| You should also be specific in the parts that you own since the cooler in hand can possibly be a limiting factor when looking for chassis. Clearance from cooler height have been known to ruin some particular builds because the cooler prevented the cases side panel from closing.

For the sake of relevance, have a go with this build. Adding the GPU and cooler of your choice but please be sure to pass on the answers to the questions made to be double sure for compatibility's sake.
