So i bought gigabyte's r9 380x recently and i was really disappointed to see that it is voltage locked, is there any way around this or is it locked on a hardware level.
You might be able to edit the 380x's BIOS and then flash the mod BIOS on it to allow unlocked voltage. This can be kinda risky and you can brick your card doing this type of advanced overclocking..

It would have been good if they added dual BIOS. This way i would probably risk it but only if i know that it will raise my voltage for sure, otherwise i don't think its worth the risk if there is a chance that i'm doing it for nothing
