My Pc is just restarting randomly at random intervals. Pls help me out.

My Pc built:
Intel i7 4770
Motherboard: B85M-D3H Gigabyte
Ram: DDR3 8Gb Kingston Hyperx
No Grapic CARD
PSU: Corsair VS550
2 WD 1Tb HD

Things I Have already done:
1) Restart my pc LOL
2) Have checked my ram through windows memory diagnosis.
3)Scan for virus AVG
4)Changed a setting in windows10 regarding "automatic restart during system failure"
5)Applied new thermal paste to stock heat sink.
6)Have cleaned all dust from fans etc
7) removed all other hardware. currently only monitor mouse keyboard and wifi adapter are connected.
8) Changed Ram to other slot.

Additional info:
1)I am attaching few screenshots of my pc temperature, ram status and motherboard status if it may come in any use.
2)Psu fan, Stock fan working plus other 4 fans also working.
3) No blue screen

Solution

If it's resetting mid-pass there is possibly something wrong with your RAM. Since you're running a single channel setup, you can't do the usual thing to whip out a module and test the sticks individually (the chances of two sticks being bad is near enough to zero). If you can maybe borrow some RAM from someone you could...

Download MemTestx86 and boot your pc to it and let it run for about 24 hours. If no errors show up then replace the powersupply. If problem still occurs with new power supply then put new ram in your system

sorry but "by booting my pc into it" means to do normal restart right?
Ok visited thier site and came to know that it is not a software but some bootable thing, Sorry and thanks !

Could also be the motherboard imo. To the OP, is there anything specific you are doing when it restarts (e.g. web browsing, playing a game, watching a video etc)? Does the PC restart only under load or even when you aren't using it (i.e. idle)?

Nothing special, once while web browsing once while on photoshop, and once as soon as i entered my login pin.
in short it happens randomly at random intervals. so as per my knowledge heating should not be issue since cpu cannot be hot in 2 -3 mins of login.

Ok. Obviously this sort of thing is very hard to troubleshoot, especially if you don't get a BSOD or doesn't occur on specific tasks. I would definitely remove the wi-fi card also and see if that helps; you will kick yourself if it turns out that was the problem all along AFTER you start replacing other components!
Finally it never hurts to try reinstalling Windows either.

Ok will try that too, one more additional point, same problem used to be around one year ago. But got solved automatically. (Win8)
So i thought it might be heating issue due to summers.
I have formatted my pc about two months ago. And just few days back i was thinking of this problem and unfortunately next day it arrived.
Currently i am running memtest86 suggested by above user. But dont think so that formatting will help. It may come again after few day. Anyways if nothing works i will try that too! Anything else?

Hey, i just did what u said.
It showed pass 1 complete, press esc to exit. No errors.
And soon after that it restarted and all test started from begining.
What to interpret?

I think that's what it's supposed to do. The idea is that it stress tests your RAM continuously. IMO doing it for 24 hours is a bit rigorous, especially since you can't tell if it resetted itself during the tests (given you won't be watching it the whole time and it the app resets anyway). That said, random reboots are very often RAM related so it's definitely a prime suspect.

I dont understand whats going on. I have been running memtest since night and it completed pass 1 with no errors. After that it rebooted and started all over again. Then i went to sleep. And when i got up it showed time as 1hr 30mins. So i assume it must have restarted again and has started all over again.

Now, whats the problem? Psu or ram? Until now its zero errors but restarts tests in mid pass.

No, otherwise i would have replaced and checked!

hmm, I have only one RAM of 8gb. So that may be the culprit, then i guess. Thanks will let you know in a day or two.
