Any difference between an ASRock X99 OC Formula/3.1 and the non 3.1 version?

i plan to buy this motherboard and i'm a bit confused... i've seen the specs and still cant findm the difference between the two. sorry for stupid qestion and forgive my english

It's mostly similar. The 3.1 version has bundled with the usb 3.1 expansion card, has one usb c port, support SATA Express.
The non 3.1 version is advertised to have a coating that is "waterproof".

Wel,l it does cost to manufacture an expansion card and to add the usb c port and the controller for it to work on the motherboard.
