I've been having gaming temps (while cpu at 90% load) get to its highest at 80 Celsius . Idle temps are around 40 Celsius. Is this too hot? It seems most people say it's fine, but I just want to make sure, i'm using an after market water cooling system.
cpu : Intel i7-6700k 4.0ghz
cooling system : CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 (CW-9060007-WW) High Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 120mm
*edit, seems that the H60 is terrible in general, and performance is just bad at high load. looking into buying a regular air cooled heatsink
if anyone could help me out with some useful info i'd appreciate it.
