My computer turns off randomly without warning!

Hello everyone, I am currently having a problem with my computer. When running certain games my computer automatically turns off with no error. All of my drivers are updated, and at first I thought it was a problem with temperature. I am currently using Core Temp to monitor the cpu's temperature and it never goes higher than 47° C before shutting off, I have replaced the thermal paste and dusted every possible inch of my chassis using pressurized air. I checked my Graphics Card, the motherboard, and the heat sink for damage and there is nothing out of the ordinary. I have read online that a probable cause was a power supply so I replaced a brand new cord and it is currently plugged into the wall outlet. I am stumped, can anybody help me or give me an idea of what is going on? As a possible side note, my computer does not turn off while browsing the web except from one incident involving an anime streaming website.

It looks like there's a misquote here.
Which PSU did you replace the other with? If you just got another low quality unit you'll have the same problems.
As a general rule, If you're in North America use the 110. Most of Europe and Asia uses 220. It's just an input voltage selector. If you switch it to the wrong one the power supply won't even turn on.

No it is a desktop, thank you for this answer. I'll see about getting a new PSU and I"ll try to replace it, this computer is pretty old so that sounds like the best solution.

You could also check CPU voltages as too low voltages will cause the issues listed. My opinion is that the PSU is causing the issues listed but I'm unsure of it, check the voltages and come back :p

I have replaced the PSU and the problem consist, when running large games (Skyrim is the example here) I am able to play for about 15 minutes before the computer shuts off, the replacement came from an old Gateway (the same brand of this current build I am using) computer that I had trouble with in the past, all of the specifications seem identical so it is possible that it's too little power, should I try to find a higher power PSU? What about that red switch that labels 110 / 220, would that make a difference?

That red switch indicates that your PSU is not enough to power a recent computer (Or atleast is not the recommended, recent PSU of good quality always have bi-volt power inputs..)
About 110/220 it indicates what the PSU will use as its power input (If your house use 220v for example you need the switch to be on 220v, if your house use 110v you need the switch to be on 110v - If they are set wrongly the PSU will either fry or not work properly.)
