So my ASRock 970 Performance died after about 20 months of use. I need a motherboard to replace this. I know about motherboard but I dont need everything. I don't overclock and I just need 1 USB 3 header and at least 5 fan headers. I have an 8320. I will be switching to Intel over the summer so I won't have to deal with this hopefully. Thanks for the answers and I'm trying to keep it under $100.

Understood. There are certainly cheaper AM3+ mobos, but getting the number of fan headers you want will be difficult.

The updated version (I sent earlier) is a decent mobo. I actually have it in my home server, paired with a FX-8320. It has been running 24/7 since I had it. Your original mobo may have just been a fluke. I have several Asrock based rigs and none have ever failed.

Okay, it just seems there products are to cheap to be true. I got it based on good reviews so when it died so soon I was shocked. I could get by with 3 or 4 header. I just need at least 2 for my 120 radiator and fan
