I'm looking at a computer with this graphics card, versus one that is $200 more with a NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5 graphics card. Other than that, they are identical, with an I7 Intel Core processor and 8GB of RAM. I understand that the NVIDIA is probably better, but I'm trying to determine if it's necessary. The computer needs to be able to run Autodesk Inventor. The user would also like to be able to play Fallout 4, but Autodesk Inventor is the primary concern.

I've read some threads here that seem to indicate that the AMD card will work, but they're not about this specific card, and frankly the technical stuff goes right over my head. Thanks in advance for helping this overwhelmed non-techie.

Solution
Definitely the 960M if he even wants to startup Fallout 4, as for inventor it will work but 8GB is the minimum, perhaps more of that will be better for optimal performance
