Mic in rear and front jack won't work?

So I recently fixed my headphones that didn't work on front and now it's working by changing it to AC97,

So I got this 1 headphone(no mic) and 1 earset(with mic), so I tried to insert the earset(the one with mic) in pink front slot and it didn't work because my pc didn't recognized it, and now when I insert it in the rear jack it popped-up that an audio device is plugged in but when I try to use voice recorder, it doesn't work. Help me

the integrated mic within the earset is not recognizable, because windows doesn't have the driver for 3 part jacks(3.5 mm jack i mean) when you plug the 3.5 jack windows only sees two left and right channels and it cannot see the third channel for the recording as a microphone if fact it doesn't see it at all. although if you plug a earset like that to a macbook or a apple computer you can easily use the microphone without any problems.
