Which power supply?

I feel like I'm missing something whenever people talk about PSU's. How do you know which PSU got which connecters (like 8-pin, 6-pin etc)? Or is there somethinge else influencing this? Thanks in advance!

Any decent power supply will have connections for 6 and 8 pin connections, usually multiple for SLI or crossfire setups. But you can always read about the specs as stated above.

Power supplies under 500W generally don't have multiple 6/8-pin connectors for SLI/Xfire.
