i bought a new Nvidia 9500 gt gpu. When i installed on my pc the fan was spinning, but there is no display on moniter. i thought that gpu is dead but it worked properly on my another pc.
i found the solution. there was some jumpers on the board near the pci-e slot which allows the board to either use onboard dvi slot or the pci-e slot. i had just arranged the jumpers for pci-e as mentioned on the motherboard itself and the slot started working. Thanks Phillip Corcoran for your quick help.
May be the GPU (PCI Express) needs to be selected in the BIOS instead of the default on-board GPU?
Remove the 9500, reconnect monitor to on-board GPU, then go in to BIOS Setup and check.
i had already done every thing in bios of my zotac motherboard in which gpu is not working. but still nothing is happening. as i already mentioned, i had already tested the gpu with my another pc. it has zebronics motherboard and the bios is almost similar on both the motherboard. i had selected PEG/IGD on both motherboard. But, the gpu only works on Zebronics motherboard not on Zotac though the options are same. I had cleand the PEG slot of Zotac but still no display. i also tried exchanging the PSU, still the gpu only works on zebronics not on zotac. Please any Solution?
