Hello,

I'm from India and I'd like to know the best parts to build a PC under 2500$ USD (1,70,000 INR). My goal is to max out something like Dark Souls 3 or The Witcher 3 (No hairworks or AA) with a steady 60 hopefully.

Please guide me on this!
Thanks you

Assuming no monitor/keyboard/mouse needed (you have those I assume) and I'm also going assume that you'd rather not go overboard as this is actually pretty simple. It's harder to squeeze together a build on a tight budget. Here we go:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($297.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($118.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Crucial MX200 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($79.99 @ Adorama)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM...

Went with an i7 non-K - not needed for gaming really as most games are GPU bound. This will give you plenty of power and should be good for a while.

Chose the GTX 1080 because why not? Budget allows it and it's a killer card.

Gigabyte SLI capable motherboard because it could be SLI'd down the road if you choose.

Standard Crucial SSD because they're good and very reliable. 1TB drive for bulk storage. DDR4 16gb ram should be plenty.

And I came in $1000 under budget. :)

Woah, that's amazing!

Though i'm gonna need a new monitor (a 144 Hz perhaps?). Could you recommend me one of those as well? Preferably something by BenQ :D

You could just scroll through the reviews here at tomshardware... I'm sure they have some reviews on the BenQ monitors. My monitor that I have at home is a HP 27xi that I picked up on sale for $200. It's gorgeous. No, it doesn't do 144hz but it's a great 1080p monitor especially for the price.

For your particular application with a GTX 1080 you probably want something with a native QHD 2560x1440 to drive at 144 fps minimum. I don't think the GTX 1080 would be able to do 4k @ 144fps at high quality.
