It looks like everyone is trying to make you not get the i7, and so am I for now, but for a different reason.
I want to tell you to wait for more choices. Your processor right now is a great performer by itself and switching to a processor with less cores or less cores + hyperthreading is going to immediately nerf any multitasking abilities you currently have. Single threaded performance is going to be up the wazoo, but you won't have the noticeable difference you would get from a GPU...

Well yeah it´s mostly for games i mean i have fallout 4 on ultra and i´ve noticed serious drops in fps, my best friend said that it was the CPU and if i got an intel i would be able to get a boost in performance, i just want a second opinion on that.
Nice ogre btw.

Simple test go into game on ultra then turn your settings down to all mid and go into the game with as close as you can to the same exact environment. If their a large increase in FPS then your video card or in game settings is the problem if not then it's the processor.
In general you will see a increase in performance with the Intel processor but not if it's the video card holding you back because your trying to run the game at too high of settings.
That game is poorly optimized anyhow.

Your processor right now is a great performer by itself and switching to a processor with less cores or less cores + hyperthreading is going to immediately nerf any multitasking abilities you currently have. Single threaded performance is going to be up the wazoo, but you won't have the noticeable difference you would get from a GPU upgrade (My FX-4100 has been going strong for 2 years after I changed out my GT 430 to a GTX 650 TI) but if you wait till Q3-4, you have the choice of Zen (which has currently been revealed to have close to 2x the performance of Piledriver in terms of IPC), and cheaper DDR4 pricing. If you're going to switch to Z97, you're getting rid of upgradeability in the future and you'll have to pay more for your next upgrade.

So don't let people fool you with performance charts and "single-threaded performance". Wait until you have more choices, then come back and ask us when it's time.
