Problem with RAW files

Hello. I have MOV files with the RAW codec shot with a Black Magic video camera. I cannot open these files with Final Cut Pro. Do I need to convert the files somehow? Please help or I am up the creek! Thanks.

In general you need to convert any RAW file in to a format you want to work with. In some cases you can convert this late in the process if you are working with a program that supports your raw format natively or has a codec add-on which does. In the case of your camera and your desired editor you will need to convert your video file to work with your selected video editor.

Here is a conversion tutorial on how to do this (Blackmagic raw to Final Cut Pro) using DaVinci.
