Problems with SSD & HDD boot

Just finished installing my OS, and for the most part the computer works fine (I'm obviously still working out the kinks with settings etc), however I've run into a snag regarding my SSD.

When I boot up my PC, the SSD drive doesn't show up next to my hard drive in My Computer. When I poke around with the different drive/disk managers, I can see that it's there, but I cannot access it in any way.

When I go onto the BIOS menu Boot options, I can't see my SSD drive there, but it is there on the Boot override menu, though it still doesn't show when I click it. I can switch the order of HDD and SDD on the boot priority menu, but that doesn't allow the latter to show up either.

Hey there, Inkredible69!

Did you unplug the HDD when you were installing the OS on the solid-state drive? It's highly possible that there's some sort of an OS confusion if you had both SATA drives connected to the motherboard while installing Windows. I'd suggest you troubleshoot this by unplugging the HDD and see if you will be able to boot properly from the SSD. Another thing that's worth the try is resetting BIOS . This would get your BIOS settings back to factory defaults, so make sure you reconfigure them afterwards. I'd also suggest you check if the AHCI SATA mode is enabled for the SSD.

Keep me posted with the troubleshooting!
