I recently preordered an Asus GTX 1080 Strix GPU. Some people have said that the CPU wouldn't bottleneck 2x GTX 980 - which is better than the 1080 in some tests - while some other people say that the 3570k will be bottlenecking the GPU.
How much do you think the 1080 will be bottlenecked if it does? Like how many FPS?
My setup right now:
Motherboard - Asrock z77 Extreme4
CPU - i5 3570k (Not OC'ed)
GPU - Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 (Not OC'ed)
Ram - 8GB (can't remember bandwidth)
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master TX3 EVO
PSU - EVGA SuperNova 850W G2
I have plans to upgrade my pc in a while, but i dont have enough money right now:
Motherboard - Asus Z170-E
CPU - i7 6700k
Ram - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 2133MHz
CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken x61 (Water) or Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
