Hello,

So I will be building a gaming pc soon and of course I am on a budget meaning I can't spend the majority of my money on mechanical keyboards and amazing mouses. So by spending all my money on the important things like the cpu and video card and PSU I also need a mouse an keyboard. I cam across the Microsoft Wired Desktop 400 UK Wired Standard Keyboard w/Optical Mouse and the price is like heaven to my eyes. However, I have this worry at the back of my head that the mouse and keyboard will die on me in a week or two. So my question is, is the Microsoft mouse and keyboard strong in which it won't crap out and is it okay for gaming (non-esports level gaming just normal gaming)?

With all due respect, that Keyboard+Mouse combo is worth about 13 quid which IMHO is best spent towards a lesser known brand like A4 tech or Logitech. I can assure you that any keyboard and mouse will do the job in terms of work, be it productivity or gaming but with missing bells and whistles. Here's what you can do, pass on the build you've amassed up right now so we can refine your build and see if we can adjust it to include a more gamer centric keyboard+mouse combo.

I personally own an X4 and X6 but I have no idea with their business range of keyboard's+mice and from the way Microsoft have in terms of their QC department, they won't be releasing bad/cheap quality components into the market. In terms of the build advice, please...
