I plan on getting a GTX 1070, Will it fit in the Phantom 410?
http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Phantom-Tower-Gaming-Case/dp/B006I2H04I/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1465162006&sr=1-1&keywords=phantom+410

I'm also getting a new motherboard, MSI 970
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-970-GAMING-DDR3-Motherboard/dp/B00LUY72F6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1465162178&sr=8-1&keywords=amd+motherboard

Are they both compatible with each other or should I get another case or motherboard, because I was looking at the full tower version of the 410.
I used pc part picker and it told me that "The NZXT Phantom 410 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 305mm long, but video cards over 230mm may block drive bays. Since the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Founders Edition Video Card(1070 is also the same size so I subsituted) is 267mm long, some drive bays may not be usable."
Also if anyone has any other recommended mobo or cases thatd be great, thanks. Under the 120 dollars price range. :)

Agreed.

You will probably have to remove the middle drive cages to fit without any real issue, and that is what pcpartpicker is likely referring to, but they are designed to be removed for this exact reason.

Also, your mobo will be just fine...if there were real compatibility issues, that would mean many people would have to change their mobo just to upgrade their gpu, which I am not aware of as a common problem. you may just need simple driver updates to get everything talking properly.

if you are looking to get a gtx 1070 an amd system is not what you should be looking at

you need an i5 build, otherwise you are wasting a lot of the performance of the 1070

i suggest making a post with your budget and asking for help building a proper 1070 build

Good plan! I was only focused on the case requirements, but I agree, i5 or better to properly support the 1070's capability:) There are many amazing minds on this forum to help design a setup for your needs, so yes, post your budget and you will be amazed at what folk here can come up with!
