The program is honestly quite annoying, and I noticed options for automatic fan control in the BIOS. Do I actually need this Command Center to take advantage of the fan control or can I just switch it on from the BIOS? Thanks.
You could use speedfan to control your fans while in OS/desktop environment but it should be running in the background as is the case with MSI's app. If the option manually control your fans is not in the BIOS outside of the generic Auto and disabled modes then the only option is to go for software control. It would also be worth while in either investing in a dedicated fan controller since you have a limited number of fan headers
(3 in total) or get a PWM splitter and have them run off the processors header e.g: Swiftech's PWM splitter
