I want to know is this a good build and if there is anything that would be better when changed please let me know or are my missing some parts ??

CPU : Intel Core Skylake Processor i5-6500/3.2 GHz
CPU Cooler : Cooler Master RR-212E-16PK-R1 Hyper 212 Evo
Motherboard : Asus Z97-P ATX Motherboard for Intel 1150
Graphics Card : ASUS STRIX GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Hard Drive : Seagate ST1000DM003 3.5 inch 1TB Barracuda

Your motherboard does not accept your CPU.
Your motherboard is for intel's 4th gen CPUs, you have a 6th gen CPU.
Also, your RAM is DDR3 which is, again, not last gen, you need DDR4 with intels 6XXX CPUs.
The PSU is really bad.
The build I listed is correct and last gen, also a bit better than yours.

EDIT: The motherboard in my build is not a Z(ovreclocking) board, if you want that swap it for a Z170 board, but you can't overclock a 6500, it's a locked CPU.
