How do I transfer my current hard drive to a new hard drive?

Hi there Noah_18,
You can install new OS on your new drive. Keep in mind that the OS drive should be the only one attached to your system.
After that, you can attach your old drive to your new system either internally(SATa & power cables) or externally(SATA to USB adapter + power cord). Then, you can transfer all your data. Though, you will need to reinstall all the applications.
Cloning the drive will not work in that case, as both system have completely different hardware. You will most probably get a BSOD in case you try that.

Well, I meant clean OS installation. I believe you have OS CD right?
You can use your old OS CD but you need to perform a clean OS install.
There are many detailed tutorials on the internet on how to perform Win install.
