So I bought the brand new Linksys EA9500 Max-Stream AC5400 and I have an external hard drive connected to the usb port, I can access to it on my home network without a problem but, I enabled ftp access so I can access to it outside of my house and I can't get it to work. I can connect to the ftp server but I can't see any files at all. Do I need to forward a port on my router? And If I do what ip address should I use ?? Because the HDD does not have an ip address and I can't use the router's ip address? Please HELP !!!
