I have an HP Pavilion Slimline S5710T I'm looking to maximize the memory in this computer system. I have 4GB of DDR3 10600 memory on it's way. I thought I'd find out if I could install larger GB ram sticks. I did some research and most of the sites show only 4GB max, but only with older processors and not with Q9550 processor. Thanks so much!

Motherboard: Foxconn H-IG41-uATX
RAM: 2GB DDR3 10600 (1 Stick Currently)
CPU: Intel 2 Quad Q9550
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6450

Okay, well once i'm able to throw money on 4gb modules i'll test that out. But... Would there be ANY reason why they'd purposely limit it to 2gb modules? Is there a technical aspect to it, a hardware that can be limited to 2gb modules? I can't see why as more memory on a single stick would be, simply, more resources (as much as one memory stick can hold and within specs of the chipset)
