Hi,

I noticed that front chase fan stopped working, so CPU fan was getting noisy. When I was trying to replace front fan I noticed that is somehow connected to the same adapter as GPU (???).
And now I don't know how to remove these 2 wires from Chasis fan? Do I simply pull them out of adapter, or do I cut them off and tape tips down to prevent short circuit?
That was the first time I saw chasis fan conected this way and not directly to MOBO or PSU so I would be really happy if you guys could help me.

Thank you for your help, and sorry for bad english. I can explain better if you didn't understand anything.

Also here are some pictures, unfortunately I can't provide more pics because this PC isn't mine and I can't acces it right now.

Solution
That's just an adapter pigtail. To take the fan out, just unplug that pigtail on both ends and connect the GPU directly to the PSU connector.

I thought that was some kind of adapter, because GPU part as 3 wires, and PSU part has 8 wires but I was afraid to unplug it, because I was afraid to destroy GPU.

Thanks for answer, gonna try on weekend and will post reply.
