So when I boot my PC it turns on then shuts off, so I need to reboot my bios. But how do I do this? I have an EVGA. Board and I'm not sure where the jumper is or if there is one. Or how do I take out the battery safely. Thanks

Hey there, cdman13!

There several ways you can do that. I'd strongly recommend you refer to the motherboard manual for assistance. In case you cannot get a hold of it, you should check these three methods on how to reset your BIOS. Keep in mind that this procedure will get your BIOS settings back to factory defaults, so you'd need to re-configure any manual changes that you might have already made.

Hope this helps you! :)

most of the cmos reset jumpers should be near the cmosd battery. in the user guild for your mb model there be a page on jumpers on the mb that point you to the jumper to reset. make sure power is off and unplugged from the wall. you need to give the mb a few min to lose power and reset.
