Turning my Windows 7 PC into a router

I've been following this guide on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/YouShouldKnow/comments/2bqfvi/ysk_how_to_turn_your_pc_into_a_wifi_hotspot/

However, I've been running into this problem

I set up the CMD stuff and it's all good. Then I go click on my main network to go the properties: https://imgur.com/VFxs9sI

So I go click "wireless network connection 3" then the little box on the right shows then I hit "properties" on the bottom left.

Then when I go to the sharing tab and tick those boxes and click Ok, i get this error: : https://imgur.com/IqOFVla

How do I fix/resolve this? I've been searching online but nothing's coming up.

  • ipconfig /all

From that drop-down list box you have to select private network connection.

I did choose "select a private network connection" I just dont understand however what else I have to do or configure
