How to remove black side bars from quantum break

I have a problem in quantum break which is that when i set the game on 1680x1050 resolution,a black side bars appers in it although on 1920x1080 there is no black bars how to fix this????

1680x1050 is 16:10. You need to use a 16:9 resolution if your monitor is natively 1920:1080 such as 1600x900.

My monitor is natively 1920x1080.do you mean there is no way to play on 1680x1050 without the black bars????

This game is the only game that the 1680x1050 appers with black bars

You could, but it would be stretched which is worse. Just use 1600x900. That's teh proper res to use on a 16:9 monitor.

I dont think so. Some games will scale a resolution like 1680x1050 to a 1920x1080 screen. Quantum break im assuming doesn't scale at all it just turns the part of the screen your not using black. Not entirely sure however.

What GPU and monitor do you have? there are specific setting that you need top do.
But i have to ask: why do you insist on using the wrong resolution?

Go into the monitor's menu and look from something like "ratio" or "scaling". Set it to "wide" or "stretch". You'll find it set to something like "original".

Alternatively go into Nvidia control panel under "Adjust desktop size an position".
First set it to perform scaling on the display, click "full-screen" and check "override the setting..."
If it still doesn't work keep tehse setting but set to pergorm scaling on the GPU.

Once and for all man: run it at 1600x900. You will have no problems. That si teh correct resolution to use.

Assuming you have a decent cpu the 960 should be capable of running that game at 60fps no problem at the right settings. The game is capped at 60fps so you cant go any higher than that.

Lowering the resolution does not change the load on the CPU. It mostly only affects the GPU.

The only way for me to play the game on 1920x1080 and get 60fps is playing the game on the lowest settings.do you know how can i play it with raising some settings and get 60fps????
