I ran Steam's VR Performance test, wondering how badly my old workstation would score.
It's an HP Z600, running dual Xeon E5520@ 2.27GHz, 32GB memory, GTX 660 GPU.
Much to my surprise, the only thing that it flagged was the GPU. Those old CPUs were given a green light. Which has me wondering:
If I upgraded to a better GPU, would I be able to run a VR headset on this thing? (This as a way of incrementally upgrading.) Or is there a catch that Steam test isn't pointing out?
