Which drivers should I install?

Windows 10 Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 with a ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard and EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti video card.

The motherboard came with a DVD. When placed in another machine, it requested my admin password, and then responded: This utility is not for this platform!

Video card also came with a DVD, and I can view it in another machine.

I understand that maybe f6flpy-x64.zip at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25165/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-RAID-Driver?product=55005 might also be desired.

Before installing Windows, which drivers should I install?

Are these drivers installed during the Windows install process, or beforehand using the Bios?

Thank you

I would use the provided DVD at first so that you can just see if everything is working. This will also let you see which drivers you should search for.

I would say the most important drivers are ethernet and graphics.
I'm pretty sure Asrock has a program that lets you easily upgrade all of your drivers. The correct ethernet driver should be here.
For graphics, go to Nvidia's website and download the most recent one compatible with your card. (I think Nvidia's driver is generic to its cards, but it's good to make sure)

Other things like USB, sound, etc. will probably be listed on the installation disk, so you'd be able to find the newer versions of them on the internet or through that Asrock program I was talking about.

The drivers came with the equipment for the motherboard and video adapter, and the link for the CPU is the same manufacturer.

I didn't see anything on the instructions to install the motherboard drivers, but would expect it would be a good idea.

Do they need to be installed, or will Windows figure it out?

Uh, you can't install drivers on a computer with no OS! Windows will attempt to install compatible drivers, but they won't be the best ones for your system. On desktops they usually work pretty well, but once you get Windows up and running, you should install the drivers that came with your hardware for best results.

Exactly.
Maybe he didn't know that Windows 10 is the name of the OS?

Sorry, knew the definition of OS, but just thought that communication/harddrive/etc drivers needed to be installed before the operating system. Thank you.

So, question remains which drivers should I install (post OS installation)?

Per http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/274745-31-step-step-guide-building
Once the OS installation have been complete, it is time to begin installing your other drivers. I recommend installing updated drivers from the internet, over the CD. I normally download all of the required drivers a head of time onto a flash drive, so I use the current drivers.

Install all required motherboard drivers; chipset, audio, network… etc.

"etc"? Which ones should I do? How do I locate each? Should I not use the provided DVD?
