Have guesthouse approx. 500 Ft. from home, diagonal to home, with trees dotting landscape. No Ethernet in guesthouse, any recommendations of how to accomplish WiFi connection would be appreciate, what equipment and where to purchase. Thanks.

The biggest error I made when setting up my one unit is not realizing that NOTHING was saved until you hit the "Save/Reload" button

Just hitting the "Apply" button on a screen doesn't make the change. You have to hit the Save/Reload to actually make the change.

Look through the manual and there are YouTube videos on setup.

If you get a pair of these, then start with them in the same room. Hook the "far" end up to a laptop. Get it to work with them both 10ft apart in the same room. AFTER you have all the problems ironed out, then move them outside and apart.

Makes lots of sense - Before finding this site, primarily purchased range extender from Office Depot, upon their recommendation, obviously not even close to filling the need appropriately. Not tech-savvy, did read and try researching to educate myself somewhat and can certainly identify more with practicality of your advice. Hope to speak to your referral link tomorrow to make appropriate purchase. Thanks so much for your time and advice, it is greatly appreciated. I will advise outcome.
