So i've had this issue on and off for the last couple of months. I have tried to run basically every anti-virus software out there to no avail.
The problem seems to be that there is a virus modifying my svchost process, so that every time I open an application (Like steam for example) it makes a fake update and modifies .dll files (have not seen it targetting any other file extension) which makes certain aspects of the application null.

For example; every time I open up Steam it does an update (which looks like a normal update released by valve) that takes about 30 seconds. Once Steam open everything works fine untill I open a game. CS:GO in particular. When I start up CSGO, it gives me an error saying that the signature of some of the games .dll files have been modified. So I have to exit the game and re-validate my game directory in order to connect to any servers.

It's not really a MAJOR issue but it gets annoying when you have a certain amount of time to play.

Like I said I have tried EVERYTHING to solve this issue but have not solved it yet. I have no system restore points for some reason so that is out of the question.
