Hi guys!

I was wondering if Dominator Platinum DDR4-3200 MHz memory is compatible with my CPU (i7 6700k) since on Intel's website they state that the maximum is DDR4-1866/2133 MHz?
The Asus Maximus VIII Formula supports up to dual DDR4 3733 MHz (OC).
Is there something is need to change in the BIOS in order to get the memory speed to go up to 3200 MHz or does it do that automatically?

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Should be fine yes, to set up for 3200, simply go into BIOS and enable XMP - if any problem, make sure you have the latest BIOS and try, or might need a slight OC on the CPU to run at 3200

Beware! I tried this and while I could get the rams to run at specified speed and post with XMP, I could not install or boot into windows. The DDR4-3200 2x8GB kit is not listed as supported and has given me issues. Refer to the manual for this motherboard for ram compatibility or else you are in for a headache.

I run with the same board and I have a constant "Stable" overclock on the cpu to 4830mhz at 3242 on the ram.

I am also running the 2x8GB kit of Dominator Platinums. I was worried as well when I did not see my ram configuration listed as one of the compatible ram applications, but I have not run into one issue, the only times it has given be problem is when I try to take the RAM overclock near or past 3300mhz
