I have a ASUS M4A89GTD board and a GeForce GTX 460 in PCI port 1. If I plug in the "VGA-Switch-Card" in PCI port 2 the PC wont boot and the red DRAM LED will flash. Without that card plugged in the system boots normally but GPU-Z tells me that my graphics card only runs on PCI-e x8 v1.1. How can I make the GC run at x16?

Solution
Hi, the VGA-Switch-Card is required for the port to run at full speed. However, what you need to do is install the GTX 460 in the blue Slot 2 and the Switch card into slot 1. Then it should operate correctly.
