Blue screen while playing GTA V with I5 4670k @ 4.2 ghz please help!

Solution
if the CPU was not overheated at the time of the failure then the power to the CPU must have fluctuated. It did not look like you were overclocking at the time of the failure.

Tcase for this cpu is 72.72°C after that it will throttle

Yeah i went stock and im really pissed that i got shitty CHIP on stock speed (3.8ghz) works at 1.23volts. And i have frame hiccups i bought ssd just for that but it didnt really fix the problem :(

GTA V should run smooth with your CPU unless you have a low end video card or are running on top settings or higher resolutions.

second one showed the same problem but after 7 hours 20 mins.
looks like the cpu either overheated or the power fluctuated to the CPU. This can happen if the GPU pulls too much power or the power from power supply fluctuates.
I would check that the fans are spinning at full speed, and blow out any dust from CPU, GPU and psu fans.

I would guess you have a overheating problem (cpu, gpu or PSU(

I bought this cpu so i can overclocking and i cant even go to 4.2ghz. If i try to push it to 4.2ghz i must go to 1.290 volts which is pretty high and not worth ruining my cpu :( :( :( . Btw i got HYPER 212 EVO cooler....

I would install the current bios, you can get stuttering caused by the new designs that have various components going through the PIC/e BUS. (the current versions had some USB fixes that could relate to a stuttering problem)

https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z87-G45-GAMING.html#down-bios
-(also check for the driver updates)
- you might also turn off any unused high definiton audio devices in windows control panel.
for example, you can disable the gpu sound support if you don't get sound to your monitor via the video cable
(hdmi, displayport)

the voltage for the cpu is what was reported by the BIOS in the memory dump, if you have overclocking software the actual voltage and clock rates would be different.
