Hi All

I have read several threads on this subject but my example seems slightly different. I recently moved from an AMD system to Intel and so am not sure if this is normal for an Intel CPU.

I am getting variances in the cores both in idle and under 100% load (as suggested in the Intel testing thread for temps)

Typical Idle:
Core 0: 27
Core1: 23
Core2: 20
Core3: 22

Typical 100% P64 Small FTT test:
Core0: 58
Core1: 56
Core2: 52
Core3: 54

This is the fairly typical as have run it 4 times for 10 mins each and its been the same each time (+/- 1c)

Ambient is 19c today.

I am wondering if I put the cpu cooler on at slight angle before tightening pushing the TIM in one direction slightly.

Anyways im not particulary worried but interested on input on possible reasons.

Thanks in advance.

System Specs:
I7 6700k (No OC and turbo disabled)
ASUS Maximus VIII Hero
16GB DDR4 2133 RAM
MSI r9 380 4G GPU
1T SSD

Your temps are very good. It's normal for some cores to get hotter than others because of both the speeds to witch they boost, teh work they do, and teh thermal dissipation varinaces inside teh CPU. No issues whatsoever.

EDIT: Why have you disabled turbo? You are loosting performance for no reason...
