Sapphire R9 280x Tri-x black screen

Hi, my pc spec are as below:

GA-990FXA-D3 with AMD FX6100
2 x 4GB 1866mhz Furry-x DDR 3 ram
1 SSD, 2 SATA HDDs
FSP Raider 650W PSU
Galaxy GTX 275

When i purchased a new Sapphire R9 280x Tri-x, my screen is black and nothing come out after installed it in my rig..when i changed back my GTX275, everything is working.. Before that i used Asus Matrix 7970, and no problem at all...is this mean that my psu cannot support that graphic card?

Even if the PSU was weak it should at least give you the BIOS. You have fully connected all power connections to the GPU and it has been fully seated in the system (and of course you are plugged directly into the GPU?).

The 7970 should use just as much power if not more so there really is no reason it shouldn't work.

Hi, i cant even see the bios screen when start computer.. all fans include processor fan seem running smooth..i have update the MB bios to the most recent version but still cant solve the problem

all the cable was plug correctly..my Asus Matrix use 2 x 8pins as well..Just curious no screen came out when plugged in this R9 280x..when i change back previous card then everything go b to normal

If everything is plugged in correctly (and a 7970 worked before, and you have another card that works fine now as well) and you get no display then the card is defective, can you return it?
