My motherboard was faulty recently and got it replaced yesterday and when i tried to boot, i got "Monitor going to sleep" when my Display was connected to the Graphics card. It worked before my motherboard became faulty.

So, i connected my display to the one in motherboard and it started to work. I suspected the VGA - DVI connector was faulty so i replaced it and tried and with the new Connector i got "Check Video Cable" error.

I have a GTX 750 Graphics card and Asus H81M-CS Motherboard. The Fans in 750 spins as well.

How could i possibly fix this? also where is the graphics card located in the Device Manager?

Solution
Try reseating the graphics card. Make sure the monitor is plugged into the card before you turn on.

It sounds like the integrated graphics is coming on as its not detecting the card correctly.
