info - Acer aspire v5 573G-74508G1Taii
Processor Core i7
System Memory 8 GB DDR3
Graphic Processor Nvidia GT750M

i want to completely switch to nvidia graphic card as the primary graphic card .
But i am unable to do that .
In bios i get 5 options to select the primary display which are AUTO/IGFX/PCI/PEG/SG . By default it was on SG( switchable graphic) and i tried all other options but nothing made the nvidia as primary display.
IGFX makes intel integrated driver as the primary.
PCI also does the same thing as IGFX.
PEG makes the display go off , its completely black , i have to reset bios settings to bring it back to life.
Auto is same as IGFX/PCI.

I saw in device manager the nvidia graphic card is situated at PCI slot 4 .
I will be attaching some pictures of my bios below .

Strange! PCI should keep the nvidia card as primary...maybe its the laptop's power settings (both-the software control and the BIOS power setting) Maybe your current power plan switches to integrated card to save battery power. Check the BIOS power settings, then select high performance mode in windows and in the advanced power settings see if there's a option for graphic card...

(MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK THE BIOS POWER SETTINGS!-something could potentially go wrong if you aren't careful)

Is that a laptop? Use GeForce Experience and mark your nvidia card as default.
PC? Connect the monitor to the card (needless to say!)

Its a laptop and selecting nvidia from geforce does nothing ,even after that the display adapter used by windows is intel integrated .
i want to completely turn of the intel integrated graphic card and i think which is only possible through the bios .

Maybe it's in the UEFI. Anyways, my graphic card works fine as the default one after the geforce settings.
Try this>Right click on any program>Select display adapter>More settings
