Looking to upgrade memory?
I have an excellent Asus W5F which i have just fitted with a 320gig SSD. It has 512meg memory on board and I put a 2 Gig memory card since new in 2006. Question is, can I fit the Crucial DD2 4 gig memory which is a 800 mhz as opposed to the 2 gig 667 mhz fitted? Could it work by pairing off to the onboard memories speed? There is only one slot. Thanks.

No, memory is very finicky, and laptop memory even worse because the bios doesn't let you tweak it to make it work. If your laptop calls for 667 mhz memory thats what you need. As well looking up the specs on that laptop it doesn't support over 2gb of memory anyway, so don't waste your money and time.
