Motherboard: msi b150m pro-vdh
Processor: intel i5 6500
Memory: kingston hyperx fury 8gb ddr4 2133mhz
storage: WD blue 1tb 7200rpm 3.5" (WD10EZEX)
graphic: Asus strix gtx 970
psu: seasonic s12g 550w gold certification
case: circle cc821

Questions:

1) is this build enough for 1080p gaming at ultra , 60fps?
2) is the motherboard good enough or should I go for ASUS b150i PRO gaming?
3) is the ram good or should I swap it for Corsair vengeance LPX 2400mhz?

Solution
Effectively no. A Z170 board could support faster RAM, which would give you a few percent more performance, but it's not very cost effective.

1) Yes, for the most part
2) It's decent enough, if you are on budget
3) I would swap it out for 16Gb, not faster speed
note: if you could wait till the 29th of this month AMD will be releasing a new Radeon RX480 8GB DDR5 for 230$ which would kill that 970, which you should not buy now by any means anyway

1. For the most part yes. One or two very demanding games may force you to drop a few settings.

2. Should be fine. Just look at what features you need.

3. It's fine, these motherboards don't support faster memory anyway.

I would suggest waiting for the RX 480 to release, if you can, since the GTX 970 is most likely terrible value for money in comparison.

What can I do to make the build better? Should I invest in a better CPU (i5 6600)?
I will wait until rx480 hits the market but new GPUs are ridiculously expensive in my country so I probably won't be able to buy it.

The RX480 is 100$ cheaper, I'm sure what ever the case is will be cheaper than the 970, get 16GB RAM at same speed, if you do not intend to overclock stick with that same processor, lose the 80+ gold and go for 80+ Bronze (which is btw power consumption effiency, not quality as many would think) and spend the money on that previously stated RAM

i'll wait for RX480 , thanks

Nah a Core i7 is poor value for money for gaming. Better off spending that money on the GPU, at least until you already have like two GTX 1080s in the build. A Core i5-6600K with overclocking could make sense, but I still think you're better off spending on the GPU instead. Or even on an SSD, though it doesn't affect in-game performance.

For most, no. A handful of games show improvement, and you might want an i7 if you're aiming for 120fps, but for the most part you won't be able to tell a difference. It's arguably worthwhile if you do streaming, encoding/editing, and other productivity workloads.

does motherboard affect in-game performance?

Faster RAM is worth it if you're getting a Z170 motherboard anyway to overclock the CPU (or run two graphics cards), but yeah it's not worth it just for the memory speed.

So the b150m board I chose is fine, right?
Or should I go for something better?(h170?)

The only significant difference between motherboards for a non-K CPU is their ports and connections. An H170 board is not better than a B150, but it might have more USB ports, or a second onboard LAN. H110 is in no way "worse" than B150, and cheaper, but it maxes out at 2 RAM slots. Buy the board that has the ports and connections that are right for your needs.
