A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor

I am running:
Windows 7
GTX 970
AMD FX-8350
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
G.Skill DDR3 16g

I've been having this problem for a while but just kept letting the computer crash because I'm lazy, this usually happens during high loads or sometimes randomly (gaming, watching livestreams, etc.). I would love to fix this problem because it is getting kind of annoying. The error I get from the BSOD is: A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor. Which leads me to believe my CPU is not working correctly. I've had this computer for not even a year.

Thanks for the help in advance,

It's still better to test the RAM outside of running a memory test, there are cases where the test is fine, but replacing the RAM fixed the issue.

First issue I see is that you are not using a good motherboard to run along with your CPU, the 8350 is pretty well know for having issues on lower end boards. A board based on the 990FX chipset is better.

What is the power supply brand and model? A cheap power supply can crash the system, especially with an 8650.

Next, did you test the system on one RAM stick at a time or with new RAM?

I tested the memory and no problems were found. My power supply is PSU CORSAIR | CX500M 500W R.

Corsair CX is not a very good quality power supply, about the middle range, that may be the issue. OK for some systems, not really for one with a high power draw CPU and a higher end video card.

Did you already try a clean Windows setup? If not, I'd try that first, then try another power supply a few tiers over the CX, http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html If that also did not fix things, a better motherboard may do it.
