i am building a pc for college/gaming
but i need to know how many watts it will need

Processor: Intel i7 6700K

Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VIII Hero

SSD: 256GB M.2 SSD

RAM: 64GB DDR4 2400Mhz

Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 980 4GB
and a Raijentek Triton Water Cooler
Thanks for your help...

Solution
600W is plenty

But get a good quality power supply
Look at toms hardware PSU tier list, and go for at least tier 3..

PS....
why watercooling? Skylake are low power CPU, so you should be able to get a big overclock on air. Last 100Mhz of overclock makes hardly any real difference anyway

You will never need 64GB for gaming, the most you could need is 8GB, so 16GB in your build is plenty.
Also, wait for the 1080 and get an HDD, because an SSD is fast, but it's just 256GB, not nearly enough for movies/series/projects/software and that stuff.
