Can someone tell me what's wrong here? (GTX 970 Issues)

So i've had this for a while now and it's been something i've just brushed off my shoulder, but recently it's becoming more and more frustrating. Now, the issue i'm having is random reboots. Whilst playing graphic heavy games or doing something graphic heavy my computer will 90% of the time restart within the first 5 minutes of playing the game.

I've talked about this issue before and i've been told about using the drivers that came with my graphics card, which i am, and the regedit number 8 thing, which i also have done. Nothing seems to prevent these crashes but lowering my games to their minimal graphic settings appears to reduce them, however they are still frequent.

My Specs are as follows:

OS: Windows 10 Pro
Processor: AMD A8 6600K APU with Radeon(tm) Graphics (4 CPUS) ¬ 3.9 Ghz
Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB DDR5 (Gigabyte)
RAM: 8GB DDR3
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. F2A58M-HD2

Please help in any way you can!

Thanks!

It's a WinPower AD-E500AE-A/A6 500W.

GPU reached a max of 48.0 Celsius
CPU reached a max of 51.1 Celsius

In reply to your other comment, i've also tried with the most recent drivers, and found that using the old ones works better.

Thanks for the reply!

Alright, had an idea it was that. Would a Corsair CX500M do the trick?

The original CX range are tier 4 on that list so no but Corsair have just updated the range and apparently they are slightly better now but still not great. I would look at an XFX, EVGA or Seasonic on that list I linked, very good units at a reasonable price, just pay attention to the model you are looking at and not just brand.
