new computer build first boot freezes or resets

I put a build together today and gone for the first boot. i press delete to get to the boot up screen and when the screen opens its glitchy and either freezes or resets the computer. ive tried a number of things so far such as trying it without the graphics card (didnt solve the issue). any help would be appreciated

do you mean the BIOS? you shouldn't have to press anything for the machine to just boot, other than power of course.

Either way double check all your parts make sure they are plugged in all the way. After that try removing RAM and mix and match it to see if one of the sticks is maybe bad.
