Hey so built a brand new PC go to turn it on and nothing. Nothing in the PC turned on. I tested the psu via paper clip test, and it worked. So I know it's not that. I think it might be the motherboard but it's brand freaking new I don't understand how it could've broken. But note that I tried booting with only power sw front panel connector in. I also tried shorting the power pins on the motherboard and although I'm not 100%on how to do it I'm pretty sure it didn't work.

Have you made sure that everything is plugged in correctly and that all available motherboard power cables are in use? It can be easy to miss one of the smaller power cables.
