Hey,
I am building a new rig that will be used as a family/work computer. It won't be used for gaming but it will be seeing a lot of office applications and web browsers - multitasking. It is an AMD micro ATX build.

Here is what I have so far: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/43kv6X

I am going to pick up the CPU and Mobo from micro computers in the States but the rest of the components are going to be from Canadian retailers. I already have the ram from an old build. So my question is what gpu would work best in this setup (microATX and small case) and will these parts work fine with Linux (cinnamon), should I expect any driver issues? Additionally, will the FX-8320 show more of a performance increase for the extra 40 bucks compared to the 8320e?
Thanks!

Solution
1. If it's just a family rig the Asus GeForce GT 730 will do just fine. It is able to do light gaming (and I mean very light gaming.)
2. I suggest buying a copy of Windows 7/8/8.1/10 because you will rage with it. I use Linux right now my computer just to try it out but i don't like it. You have to use terminal to install things which make it very hard. You won't be able to install Nvidia drivers (at least I don't know how to do it.) You will have to do research on that. But if you do really want to use Linux all parts will work with it.
3. You will see a performance increase on the 8320e over the 8320, but it's a family computer so you really don't want to spend too much money if you don't have to.

Thanks for the response. I think I will stick with my mobo and cpu choice, just because I don't think the A6 will be enough for my needs.
However, if you could address some of the questions posed in my original post that would be great!

If you are coming from Windows I suggest using Zorin OS (you can check it out here http://zorinos.com/ ) it is most like Windows.
You can just go with a 1TB HDD like the Western Digital Blue or Seagate Barracuda.
You can go with a AMD FX 6300 because it's cheaper but its a 6 core not 8.

That's all I got to say
