I'm building my first pc and I've been trying to get it work for the past week and half. When I power it on the fans, video card, and the hard drive spin, but nothing will display. I took the motherboard and breadboarded it but nothing changes. I tested the cpu on two new power supplies and motherboards but I got the same results. I have done all the step in a troubleshoot guide but I couldn't find where the problem is. Is the processor the problem? (Its the only part I
haven't replace yet)

Specs
Cpu- AMD FX 6300
Gpu- GTX 750 ti
PSU- EVGA 500W 80+
Motherboard- Asus M5A78L-M/USB3

Yeah, I was fooled by the fact that it has a AM+ socket, but the chipset (780) is old, thankfully you can get a 970 mobo for like real cheap.

Hey I kept researching and your mother board IS compatible with your CPU, but you might need to upgrade the bios first.

Hahaha that's funny, the guy that wrote the tutorial doesn't even know why is called that, this is a breadboard

this is a breadboard: https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/d/c/a/b/4/513a1dface395fa524000001.JPG

it's use is to fast prototype electronic circuits, I guess the call breadboarding a mobo cause you use it like a breadboard to test indivudual components.
