Soooo... I think I can say my PC is decent?

16GB ram
I5-4690
Z97x


BUT!!!! I have a damn 2gb vram gtx 960 gpu I can barely run any recent games like just cause 3 or GTAV without making it look like A Ps2 game...

2GB is low, but assuming you're at 1080P you shouldn't have to drop settings down too far, I wouldn't have thought.

Specific settings like AA can make a massive difference to VRAM usage. That guide about also talks about lowering character variety (but not the number of characters), helps significantly.

For sure you'll have to make compromises with demanding games, but I suspect with most games there will be few particular settings that are chewing up significant amounts of VRAM. If you can find those and drop them down, you can probably leave the rest of the...

Your GPU is fine, whats lacking is the video memory. New games require like minimum of 3-4GB of video memory to play 1080P high settings.

Edit:
Even for me I get like 30-45FPS on Assassin Creed Syndicate at highest settings 1080P, because the game needs 4GB of video memory to play on those settings.

This is also why new GPUs have such high video memories.
