So, I have my old good gaming pc, that´s been with me trough a lot. Since I don´t have enough money to build a new one, I though that I it deserved a good push (like a second life).

This is the PC current configuration:
* ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR 5
* 2x1TB Serial ATA 2 HDD 7200 RPM
* 250Gb SSD
* AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8G Hz
* 8GB DDR3 SDRAM,1333MHz, 4x2GB
* PSU 460w

I have 420$. Here are the main ideas I have so far:

1. EVGA GTX 970 SC ($310)

2. Corsair Vengeance Pro(2x8GB) DDR3 2400MHz PC3 + EVGA GTX 960 4GB FTW+ ($60+230)
(Can I use DDR4?)

Please, let me know what would you do with the given system and cash, and if you think that the above ideas are good. Perhaps there are better things to spend the money on. Thank you very very much!!!!

PS: Let me know if there are any other information you might need. Also, energy cost doesn´t mater where I live.
Edit: raised the available cash from 300 to 420$

To be able to use ddr4 ram, you'd have to get a new motherboard. That cpu will bottleneck the 970. The psu is probably low quality. Do you know what mobo is on that?

Dell's are notoriously difficult to upgrade. Many of their proprietary parts are custom made. The cases are small, psu's are usually top mounted, and their mobo's are custom made that it's difficult to fit a different one in there without a case mod.

Since your budget really allow for a cpu/mobo/ram/gpu/psu update. I would look at a psu/gpu update now, and do the cpu/ram/mobo next. You have to make sure these components fit into the case.
