So, I want to upgrade from my i5 60, 4gb ram, 150gb hdd, and gt 630 4gb. I want to be able to run the following games at normal-ultra settings(high settings preferred)at 45+(although 60fps is my preference): GTA 5, Dark Souls 3, The Witcher 3, Smite, LoL, Overwatch and many newer games(although I enjoy many older games as well, not sure if that is valuable for you to know).

I do very light video editing, mainly gaming, and possibly plan to stream in the future(not a need, but a possibility in the future). I am for favorable for Intel, but by all means throw me suggestions.

I have a $750-$900 budget unfortunately, but I think thats more than enough for just a pc. I want the absolute BEST 1080p 60fps gaming build possible, not including accessories or monitors etc. I only want 8gb ram(as thats really all I need), no SSD(not really important to me) and an OS(Windows 10 Pro is in my favor). The rest is up to you. I appreciate anyone who is willing to help me with the build, as this will be my first actual gaming computer(its very exciting).

Last thing. I was looking into the GTX 970 4GB, and it seems to meet my needs, but I dont know if there is another card that could be used instead that would give me same performance but cheaper, or a card thats a little bit more that would give me even better performance in the long run. Anyways, you do your thiing, you guys know more about this than I do. Cheers :)

Edit: An OS doesnt matter, I am able to get it for free.

My 3350p which is slower and several generations older now paired with a 760 (older and a tier below your 970) run everything I've thrown at it at 1080 at max setting pretty well, turn down AA and it tears anything apart, every build I gave you will tear my build up

Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-06-07 22:49 EDT-0400, more memory, added ssd, better 970... or you can just change the 970 to a 980.... or wait a month or so and change it to a 1070 and be faster than the 980 for similar money

1. Is the i5 6600 a better option for gaming wise, as I saw in some benchmarks it performed MUCH better.
2. I dont need an SSD, so excluding it and putting more money to the cpu/gpu be a smarter choice?
3. Is this case reliable, and be able to support all of the parts in this build?
4. Going back down to 8gb ram could also help the money going towards the gpu/cpu, would that be an even smarter idea being that I will only be gaming and we browsing etc?
5. Are the Micro ATX boards any less than a normal board? If thats the case, than I could save money on the other questions I have asked, and buy a better mobo.

You saw a 6600k performing better in benchmarks which is over clock able I can swap it around to an oc build if you want. I promise once you get an ssd you'll never go back I have off till recently but won't have another computer without one. Games load/install instantly, windows loaded before moving window logo moves. Food tastes better. That is probably the most solid and tried and true non $100 case on the market. GTA and overwatch both go over 8 Gb memory at times the usage will only go up in the future. There are 900 ways to build a computer. U asked for a computer that will play those games at 60 fps at high settings and both builds I gave will do that. I did choose that board because its cheap but your board makes no performance difference unless you are trying to oc. I'll make you one final build with a 6600k and set up to oc if you want to go that route

Well. These builds are perfect. Is it worth getting the i5 6600 instead of the i5 6500 in all the builds? Also, would it be more worth to switch out the ram to 8gb, remove the SSD, and buy a GTX 980 instead of a 970? I think it might be overkill for the games I play(although Im expanding to DS3, TW3, etc), as im only planning to run in 1080p with 60fps. Sorry for so much trouble, but this is the first PC that actually will run games that I am getting. I dont want to buy the wrong things for my intended purposes, which is again, gaming.

The 970 is plenty to run at least high settings at 1080 on pretty much every game right now. The 6600 is a lot of $ for a small increase in performance. So the 6500 usually makes more sense. Honestly your renders and and general computing would benefit so much more from the ssd and memory that the tiny gain u might see from the 6600. Its your money and any of those builds will work but I'd either go 6600k build, or the one with the ssd/16 gigs memory
